STICK OF BUTTER SWEATER knitting pattern
The STICK OF BUTTER sweater is a drop shoulder construction, knit from the top
down. First the back yoke is knit flat while working the color chart for the back
label. Next, the shoulders are shaped, and the front yoke is knit flat while
working the color chart for the front label. The body is then joined and worked in
the round. Lastly, a portion of the body is seamed to adjust for the armholes, and
the sleeves and collar are picked up and knit in the round. The label for the
sleeves is added at the end using duplicate stitch.
The pattern includes 6 sizes to fit children ages 1-12 (see sizing chart for details) and is best suited for intermediate knitters.
Color charts are included for both SALTED and UNSALTED sticks.
